Volunteer to Help Lower-Income Families Become Homeowners

On November 6, 2025, the CAAR Foundation launched our Homeownership Navigators volunteer program. Through this program, CAAR members can serve as mentors for aspiring lower- and moderate-income homebuyers, to provide encouragement, support and advice in preparing to buy a home. We know that the homebuying process, especially in a high-cost real estate market such as ours, can be lengthy and arduous, and many people give up hope. With the help of a Homeownership Navigator, we anticipate that more families will be successful on this journey and will be able to achieve their dream of homeownership.
